    Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of irrigation principles to ensure optimal system performance and water efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and pumps.

    Inspect irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning and identify areas needing repair or improvement.

    Troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems, such as water pressure problems, leaks, or broken parts.

    Replace or repair irrigation components, including valves, pipes, wiring, and sprinkler heads.

    Perform routine maintenance tasks, including seasonal system adjustments and system flushing.

    Conduct water audits to ensure efficient water use and implement conservation measures.

    Ensure that irrigation systems comply with local regulations and environmental guidelines.

    Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining system features and operations.

    Keep accurate records of work completed, including inventory management of parts and materials.

    Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

    Assist in the training of new technicians or apprentices, if applicable.

    Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and irrigation innovations.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in irrigation technology or related fields are a plus.

    Proven experience working with irrigation systems, preferably in residential, commercial, or agricultural settings.

    Strong knowledge of irrigation components, water conservation techniques, and industry best practices.

    Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair irrigation system problems effectively.

    Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment as needed.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.

    Valid driver's license

    Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with automated irrigation control systems.

    Knowledge of local water regulations and conservation practices.
