  • Responsibilities

    The J-1 Work and Travel Program is designed for international university students to experience American culture, improve their English language skills, and gain valuable work experience while on a temporary summer job in the United States. Participants will have the opportunity to work in diverse fields, make new friends from around the world, and explore the beauty and diversity of the U.S.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Work in a designated role that may include, but is not limited to, hospitality, retail, food service, tourism, or other seasonal positions.
    - Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all visitors and guests.
    - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
    - Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
    - Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism at all times.
    - Participate in cultural exchange activities and share your culture and experiences with American coworkers and customers.

    Qualifications:
    - Must be an international university student currently enrolled in a degree program outside of the U.S.
    - A valid J-1 visa for participation in the Work and Travel Program.
    - Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
    - Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills.
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    - Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
    - Must be at least 18 years old.
