Women's Apparel Manufacturing Company J&G INC is located in Fashion District of DTLA and specialize in Junior and Contemporary fashion. We are seeking motivated individuals who would like to join our team and find themselves in pursuit of a full time career with us. We have a lot of room for growth in our company. The PD Assistant supports with sample needs, multitasking cross-cross-functionaly with design, merchandising and production aspects with all our partners.

• Create, Follow up and track all samples with vendors and update tracker

• Ensure that prototypes are in-house on time for all proto/adoption meetings

• Request fabrics/trims/etc for sampling

• Proactively follow up with each vendor to ensure timely delivery of sms.

• Work cross-functionally and with vendors to come up with creative solutions/workarounds in order to improve execution and delivery date of samples.

• Receive, log and organize all incoming samples.

• Distribute samples to all cross-functional teams and pack/ship where necessary

• Additional tasks as requested by management.

Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced Microsoft suite skills (excel)

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

• Must be efficient with strong attention to details.

• Demonstrate the organizational ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

• Have enthusiasm and be self-motivated, have a passion for fashion and clothes, and love challenges

• Strong communication skills
