    We are seeking a JIRA Developer to join our team! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of technology related projects across various departments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Jira Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, issue types, and screens to meet project needs.

    • Integration : Integrate Jira with other tools and systems such as Confluence, Git, and Slack, ensuring seamless flow of information across platforms.

    • Automation : Implement and manage Jira automation rules to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.

    • Plugin Management : Install, configure, and maintain Jira plugins and apps to extend functionality as needed.

    • Workflow Design : Design and maintain efficient Jira workflows that support the development lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions between stages.

    • Performance Monitoring : Regularly monitor the performance of Jira instances and optimize configurations for speed and reliability.

    • User Support & Training: Provide ongoing support to users, resolving Jira-related issues and offering training to improve adoption and usage.

    • Upgrades & Patches: Plan and execute Jira upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

    • Security & Permissions: Manage user access control, permissions, and security settings to protect sensitive information within Jira.

    • Documentation : Document configuration changes, workflows, and integrations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.

    Requirements

    • Experience : 3+ years of experience working with Jira (including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Core).

    • Technical Skills :

    * Strong knowledge of Jira administration (project setup, workflow configuration, and permissions).
    
    * Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL) for reporting and advanced searches.
    
    * Experience with Jira REST API and webhooks for integrations and automations.
    
    * Familiarity with Jira plugins and add-ons such as ScriptRunner, Tempo, etc.
    
    * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and their implementation in Jira.
    
    • Problem Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Jira.

    • Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Team Collaboration : Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product owners, and project managers.

    • Bachelor’s Degree : Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
