    Key Responsibilities:

    Estimating:

    • Perform detailed project estimations and change orders, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Update these estimates promptly when project scopes are adjusted.

    • Collaborate with design and sales teams to develop accurate project proposals.

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, costs, and best practices in landscape construction.

    • Continuously update and maintain internal estimating templates and cost libraries.

    Project Management:

    • Manage all aspects of individual projects from bid estimate to project completion with a focus on quality and profit including change orders and estimate revisions. Communicate project details to supervisors to ensure successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.

    • Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to align project goals and expectations.

    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

    • Work closely with Superintendents and other key field personnel to understand the progress and challenges of the projects.

    • Monitor job financial performance and support billing activities. Review job costing performance and communicate overall performance against goals.

    • Work collaboratively with the maintenance division to convert projects to maintenance contracts.

    Client Relations:

    • Serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, keeping relevant team leaders in the loop.

    • Communicate project progress, changes, and any issues to clients in a timely and professional manner.

    • Address client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

    Quality Control:

    • Ensure all work meets the company’s high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

    • Conduct final inspections and walkthroughs with clients to confirm project completion and client satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in landscape construction.

    • An associate or bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

    • Extensive experience with landscape project estimating, software, and tools (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite).

    • Strong understanding of landscape construction practices, including grading, drainage, hardscape, plant selection, lighting, and irrigation.
