Job Summary The Plumber Service Technician will provide excellent customer service and performs residential service work (troubleshooting and repairing equipment). Provides technical explanations to non-technical clients. Specific Job Duties: Ability to perform all Plumbing repairs and replacements to code. Must be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and explaining all problems and options to the client. Must be capable of performing a thorough and accurate Plumbing inspection and communicating findings to the client. Ability to complete paperwork legibly. Ability to communicate with dispatcher and call center personnel (e.g., Debrief, email, etc.). Ability to perform calculations necessary for Plumbing work as well as calculations necessary for invoicing purposes. Must be comfortable asking for payment and collecting money, and getting financing approved for clients. Must comply with all safety standards and processes. Must be able to climb ladders and work in close spaces. Must be responsible for following up on calls as needed. Must present a professional image by arriving on time, wearing company uniforms, being neat, and being well-groomed. Requirements include: Be a career-minded individual who manages your time efficiently Possess outstanding troubleshooting and repair skills Enjoy working with customers Hold a state-issued plumbing license and have at least one year of repair and service plumbing experience Outstanding customer service skills Valid driver's license Present options on every call and assist the customer in making the best decision for their home and their family. Are familiar with aspects of a plumbing repair, including leak location, water heaters, all types of plumbing fixtures, drain cleaning, and drain line replacement. Job Requirements: Must possess basic tools. Applicants must have a current driver's license. Outgoing, professional, clean-cut, and drug-free. Ability to troubleshoot service issues. Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment. Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment
Responsibilities
Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand or power tools
Plan the layout of plumbing, using drawings
Perform maintenance of water supply systems
Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems
Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate work orders and statuses
Qualifications
Valid Plumbing License
Minimum 1 year of professional experience
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment
