Job Description

• The Chef de Partie Sauté’s primary role is to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in their respective section of the dinner kitchen operation/menu, proteins, sauces, vegetables
• Assist with daily kitchen prep work and station set-up before service and maintaining the highest quality food preparation standards
• Duties associated with this role: preparing, cooking, butchery, and presenting culinary dishes; enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen; and troubleshooting any problems that may arise
• Works with Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous chef to maintain standards and create new dishes
• Will focus on hot appetizers, entrees and other hot dishes
• Supports the Restaurant with prep & execution of Events
• Supports on prep and execution of any all culinary-related activities as they arise within our out-of-daily job norm
• Picks garnish as needed from the JUSTIN garden and communicates product needs

Qualifications

• 2+ Years Fine Dining Culinary Experience
• Michelin star and/or Forbes 5 star preferred
• Culinary Degree recommended
• Serv-Safe Certified
• Proficient in Menu design and Cost Control
• Demonstrated strong ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to establish direction, obtain commitment and execute appropriate logistical processes
• Comfortable in Dealing with Guest and Purveyors on a daily Basis
• Exceptional attention to detail, and be passionate about food and wine
• Must thrive in a fast paced working environment
• Have a calm and approachable demeanor
• Superb time management and organizational skills

Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour. Final compensation is dependent upon skills and experience.
