    Job Description

    • Meet and greet customers at the Tasting Room
    • Clear and clean tables after wine tastings are complete
    • Polish glasses and wash dishes/glassware
    • Ensure trash receptacles are emptied as needed and are sorted and placed in designated areas; wipe down and clean patio furniture as needed
    • Assist in packing wine orders
    • Assemble cheese plates for customers
    • Participate in and ensure compliance with all opening and closing duties as determined and published by the Tasting Room Manager
    • Assist in special events setup, breakdown, and clean-up
    • Manage reservations for on-site guests for the JUST INN Bed & Breakfast, winery tours, tastings, restaurant, and events
    • Maintain calendars for tours, large groups, and seminars and report on occupancy levels as requested by management
    • Book lunch, dinner and event reservations with detailed notes (noting guest needs and dietary restrictions) for the Michelin/Forbes restaurant team
    • Send appropriate confirmation material to guests
    • Serve breakfast in the morning as scheduled by the manager
    • Perform all types of concierge services, including acquiring event tickets, arranging guided tours of wine country, coordinating transportation, and providing food and wine recommendations
    • Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, and respond with appropriate actions and information
    • Keep up to date on new JUSTIN releases, as well as viticulture and winemaking techniques
    • Follow all company safety procedures and company policies
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years of experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role. Experience in the wine industry a plus
    • Ability to work weekends required
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred
    • Show a strong interest in customer service
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
    • Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations
    • Proven success in applying common sense to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
    • Strong problem-solving skills involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

    Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Final compensation is dependent upon skills and experience.
