Production Analyst Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain production orders in line with demand, material availability, and production constraints.
• Develop production forecasts to support the business objectives and customer needs.
• Review forecasts and production reports with leadership group.
• Develop production status reports for operations, customer service, and leadership team.
• Make modifications to the production schedule as needed based on customer needs.
• Continually seek and identify areas for improvement, in line with strategic direction of the organization with a view to improving service levels to customer.
• Balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line.
• Expedite and assign priorities to production orders, cascading priorities to internal supply.
• Interact with supply planners to make an achievable production plan and provide information on production order and expedite status impacts to customer.
• Daily review and communication with the Operations Team Manager about production schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Production Analyst Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years prior experience as production planner in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and JD Edwards or SAP MRP systems.
• Excellent math skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
