Position Description
Title: Evaluative Services Associate (Full-time) Date: February 7, 2022
Location: Colorado
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an entry-level professional position within the Evaluative Services business unit. This position assists with the administration and coordination of examination and report development activities of the organization in accordance with professional standards, organizational policies, procedures, strategic objectives, and goals. Additionally, this position supports the Director of Evaluative Services in effectively performing evaluative services functions as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Director of Evaluative Services in evaluative duties as directed.
Effectively and efficiently collects data and conducts interviews as trained and directed.
Completes draft evaluation reports on time and with a high standard of quality and professionalism.
Ensures all written products adhere to Brower Psychological style guide, conceptualization standards, and practices, and require minimal additional editing and correction.
Submits all reports to the Director of Evaluative Services on time for final review for accuracy, conceptualization, and professionalism.
Understands the Evaluative Services Associate role and its interdependencies with other roles within the evaluative services system and processes.
Works collaboratively and effectively within a team using effective communication skills. Receives feedback well and appropriately integrates feedback to improve individual and team performance.
Maintains effective professional relationships. Helps to ensure customer satisfaction with services. Invites feedback and addresses concerns effectively and in a timely manner.
Assists Director of Evaluative Services as directed in conduct of follow-up with inquiries regarding testing services from background investigators or other hiring/employment authorities. These duties are performed in a professional, complete, and timely manner and ensures service satisfaction.
Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Evaluative Services.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred: A Doctoral degree in Forensic Psychology and a minimum of two years experience in conducting evaluations.
Minimum: A Master’s degree in Psychology, with training in evaluative measures, and demonstrated experience conducting evaluations and producing high-quality reports.

Flexible and a self-starter; able to effectively manage competing priorities while also being highly detail-oriented.
Demonstrated knowledge of police and public safety job functions and/or willingness to learn.
Demonstrated experience in conducting pre-employment evaluations and writing resultant reports.
Advanced analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills for both internal and external communication needs.
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Must be able to work extended work schedule including nights and weekends as needed.

Reports to: Director of Evaluative Services
Direction Received: Performs most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. Consistently exercises discretion and independent judgment regarding company operational matters.
Responsibility for Directing Others: As assigned.
