Job Title: Janitorial Worker
Location: Beaumont, Texas
Job Type: Part-time, Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day
Hourly Rate: $10 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented janitorial worker to join our team. As a janitorial worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including offices, break rooms, and restrooms
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
- Restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as needed
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment
- Clean and dust surfaces, including desks, chairs, and other equipment
- Disinfect high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops
- Restock paper products, cleaning materials, and other supplies as needed
- Assist with special cleaning projects and events as needed
Work Environment:
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day (minimum)
- Work hours may vary based on facility needs
- May be required to work during evening or weekend hours for special events or cleaning projects
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven surfaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
- Ability to follow instructions and operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and supplies
- May be exposed to dust, dirt, and germs
