ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS
To work as a liaison between outside sales personnel, suppliers, and customers for ALLIED EQUIPMENT PRODUCTS: coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, customers' orders, pricing, and taking orders. Handling incoming customer calls, making quotes, scheduling delivery times and completion of sales orders and dealer responsibilities. Will be responsible for maintaining computerized inventory control procedures and literature. Develop and submit e-marketing campaigns, keep records of performance of campaigns and make suggestion on how to improve. Work closely with sales and CSS in order to maximize marketing potential. Keep marketing history in company CRM currently ACT. Update company website.
PREREQUISITES/SKILLS REQUIRED
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in dealing with customers, management, and co-workers.
Mechanical aptitude; understanding of equipment and application.
Engineered products experience desirable.
Knowledge and experience in methodology of procurement and computerized inventory systems: minimum 1 to 3 years experience.
Data entry skills.
Business Math and knowledge of accounting functions.
Familiar with office equipment and procedures.
Experience in e-marketing and knowledge of social media applications and website enhancement
EDUCATION
Minimum 1-3 years' education - college preferred with emphasis in area of marketing.
EFFORTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires frequently: lifting of 0-75 lbs., sitting, walking, standing, good overall dexterity and agility, climbing, stooping, and bending. Requires occasionally: reaching above and below the shoulder.
