POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: The Junior New Home Advisor will be responsible for generating sales in assigned communities and providing exceptional experience to customers. Manage daily operations of model home complex and work with customers on every step of their home buying journey ensuring key milestones are met.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes and sells products, services and/or related accessories utilizing effective sales techniques to meet and surpass profitability goals.
- Provides customers with product price quotations, details regarding all accessories available and warranty procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma is required; some college or Associate Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience of new home sales experience working for a builder preferred.
- Industry related education, certification or degree is a plus.
- An active California Real Estate or Broker license in good standing is required at time of interview.
- New home sales experience working for a builder preferred.
- Solid interpersonal skills and experience in negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills. Although fluency in another language is a plus.
- Working knowledge of critical path and relationship selling and fundamental knowledge of finance options.
- Basic understanding of construction process and terminology, option selection process, escrow process, and customer care process.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing paperwork is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software systems is required including Word, Excel, Outlook and Website navigation skills preferred.
- The ability to read and comprehend all levels of correspondence, technical information and manuals.
- Ability to compose reports and correspondence.
- Proficiency with social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
