Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a General Oncology Physician to fill an opening with a Healthcare System located in Buffalo, New York
Requirements of the General Oncology Physician:
- Must hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) or an equivalent degree.
- Must be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.
- Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the US.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Must have a clear and active DEA.
Benefits of the General Oncology Physician:
- The salary for this position is $164 / hr

Schedule of the General Oncology Physician:
- This is a Full-time position
- Clinic or OR Schedule: 40 Hours per week per provider during administrative hours
- Normal Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Monday through Friday excluding holidays
Responsibilities of the General Oncology Physician:
- The Oncology Physician will provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in an inpatient and outpatient clinic setting.
- The physician will evaluate, triage, and prioritize consults from primary care and other services for outpatient oncology consultations.
- The physician will obtain medical history, conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing, and plan and prescribe patient treatment.
- The physician will coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other personnel in a multidisciplinary healthcare delivery system.
- The Physician will perform administrative tasks as assigned such as peer review and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations.
- The physician will provide oncology on-call services as assigned.
- The physician(s) care shall cover the range of oncology surgery services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards American Board of Internal Medicine Medical Oncology Board.
