This position will also bus aide on Achieve transportation routes.

What You'll Do
As a Job Coach, your role is to provide hands-on support and guidance that empowers participants to achieve their goals and enhance their independence. You’ll work closely with participants, the training team, and their families to create a vibrant, respectful, and safe learning environment. You'll provide work direction and help participants gain independence in their roles.
Support Participant Goals: Assist in implementing both formal and informal goals to help participants build skills and increase independence across a range of daily activities.
Assist with Community Work Skills: Provide assistance with keeping individuals on task, provide work direction, and help to ensure job tasks are completed to the employers specifications.
Transport Safely: Drive participants to and from job-sites in a safe manner.
Bus Aiding: Ride along on Achieve transportation to ensure that individuals maintain safety on vehicles. Assist with wheelchair tiedowns and participant needs while on transportation.
Engage in Meaningful Activities: Facilitate engaging tasks and activities, ensuring participants are actively involved in functional and rewarding experiences throughout the day.
Promote Independence: Help participants complete tasks in a way that encourages growth and greater self-sufficiency.
Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure that all program areas and workstations are kept clean, safe, and orderly.
Accurate Data Collection: Record essential program data on a daily basis to track progress and outcomes.
Foster Positive Relationships: Communicate effectively with staff, participants, families, and case managers to ensure that everyone is informed and involved in the program’s success.
Provide Assistance with Personal Care: Offer support to participants as needed with eating, mobility, and personal care tasks.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with staff, other agencies, and family members to provide seamless services and support.
Safety First: Supervise participants throughout the day, ensuring their well-being and safety in all activities.
