Job Title: Maintenance Technician Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Property Manager / Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the property, ensuring that all apartments, facilities, and common areas are safe, clean, and functional for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs across the property.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and inspections.
Assist in apartment turnovers, including painting, patching, appliance checks, and fixture replacements.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of all common areas, grounds, and amenities.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
Respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and materials used.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or property management setting.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Available to Work on Call
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
