Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer for John Deere Davenport Works, a premiere factory for the Construction and Forestry Division, you will lead, plan, coordinate and perform maintenance engineering work for the production maintenance team. You will join a dynamic team and operate in a challenging production environment where valuing others, diversity and inclusion are critical to the success of our team and business. In addition, you will:
Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for production equipment with a heavy focus on robots and paint systems
Support factory Total Productive Management (TPM) Initiatives
Create, manage, and audit preventive maintenance programs
Manage capital project implementation
Assign, coordinate, and review the work of support and contract personnel
Subject matter expert for all robots
Subject matter expert on the paint system and all paint equipment
Leverage enterprise information and resources to define and develop new paint processes and technology
