    Job Overview:

    As a Maintenance Engineer for John Deere Davenport Works, a premiere factory for the Construction and Forestry Division, you will lead, plan, coordinate and perform maintenance engineering work for the production maintenance team. You will join a dynamic team and operate in a challenging production environment where valuing others, diversity and inclusion are critical to the success of our team and business. In addition, you will:

    • Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for production equipment with a heavy focus on robots and paint systems

    • Support factory Total Productive Management (TPM) Initiatives

    • Create, manage, and audit preventive maintenance programs

    • Manage capital project implementation

    • Assign, coordinate, and review the work of support and contract personnel

    • Subject matter expert for all robots

    • Subject matter expert on the paint system and all paint equipment

    • Leverage enterprise information and resources to define and develop new paint processes and technology

    • Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental laws, regulations, and goals

    • Knowledge of contract management and Indirect Materials & Systems (IM&S) Supply Management Strategies

    • Works well in a team environment across multiple functions and with suppliers, contractors, and vendors

    Education:

    Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

    • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technology, Maintenance or Engineering experienceor equivalent related work experience
