SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing Information Technology support to DoS Information Technology support, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading of workstations and peripherals. Install, configure, and maintain video teleconferencing units and phones. Manages user and computer accounts, network rights, and access to systems. Ensures workstations are maintained and operational, and provide troubleshooting assistance with systems issues. Provides user training on systems to personnel. Develop and documents standard operating procedures, network documentation, and key contacts lists for IT support staff as well as helpful how-to guides for users. Assist in coordinating the implementation and maintenance of a local area network (LAN). Install infrastructure as required. Support customer requirements for movement and troubleshooting cloud-based applications, data, and email. Provide assistance with annual inventory and ensure asset locations are continuously documented.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and two years’ experience in help desk support, or six years’ experience in systems administration is required. MTA (or higher (or equivalent)) may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree.
Network+ certification (or equivalent or higher) is required.
Security+ certification (or equivalent or higher) is required.
Cloud+ certification (or equivalent or higher) is required.
Experience with Microsoft products including Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows 7/10, and Office.
