SUMMARY
The Assistant Community Manager will support the routine and daily work of the Property Management office with a focus on active leasing, marketing efforts, and coordinating activities needed to efficiently make vacant units ready for lease. In addition to marketing units the Assistant Community Manager's duties may include: cleaning and custodial tasks, showing units, answering calls, filing documents, entering data into property management software, maintain and clean office and common areas, and other duties as assigned. Work may involve responsibility for custodial care and office duties with little direct supervision, although work is subject to inspection while in progress or upon completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Office work experience (preferred).
One year of property management and/or leasing experience in a residential field (preferred).
Supervisory Responsibilities
None
Knowledge
Must have the knowledge of methods, practices, equipment and material used in a residential setting. Knowledge of how to conduct lease up and marketing drive activities.
Skills and Abilities
Must have the ability to work harmoniously with maintenance employees, tenants, the general public and property management staff. Must understand and follow oral and written instructions to perform routine operations involved in simple custodial duties without close supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. On occasion there may be a need to move or lift moderate light items to 35 pounds. Near visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; manual dexterity to operate a telephone at times; lift horizontally and vertically.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires working in vacant units, common areas, building office setting and occasional driving. There may be times that will require working out of doors in extreme heat/cold and possibly rainy weather.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
Must have a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
