A Day in the Life
As our 3D Printer Technician, you’ll kick off your day by checking in with our 150+ printer fleet—yes, 150! These machines are at the heart of our operation, producing everything from custom silicone molds to prototypes for exciting new products. You'll be the person keeping these high-tech devices humming along smoothly, ensuring every print is as perfect as possible.
You’ll spend your mornings setting up prints, slicing files, and making tweaks to print settings to get just the right result. The hum of printers in the background will be your soundtrack as you troubleshoot any issues, keep the fleet running, and jump into CAD to make improvements. And when something isn’t quite right with a part? You’ll collaborate with our product development team to adjust tolerances and solve problems. You’re not just running machines—you’re helping us innovate!
Afternoons might find you building out and organizing our 3D file management systems, ensuring everything is in its place and easy to find. This is a hands-on role in a creative and fast-paced environment, where you’ll work closely with a small, tight-knit team that values problem-solving, forward-thinking, and—most importantly—having fun while doing it!
What We’re Really Looking For
Forget about years of experience—we care about what you can do. Here’s what will make you successful in this role:
You’re a tech whiz: You love working with mechanical parts and know your way around a 3D printer.
Problem-solving is your thing: When something goes wrong, you’re the person who stays calm, diagnoses the issue, and gets everything back on track.
You’re detail-oriented and organized: With 150 printers, organization is key. You keep files, parts, and settings all in order without breaking a sweat.
You’re a CAD pro (or eager to be one): Whether you’ve used Fusion 360 or another CAD program, you’re ready to jump into file tweaking to improve our parts.
You love learning: New printers, new techniques, and new challenges? Bring it on! You’re excited to keep up with the latest in 3D printing technology and use it to make cool stuff.
