Warehouse Associate Jonny Pops LLC - Saint Louis Park, MN Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, JonnyPops®produces premium frozen treats, using real fruit as the main ingredient. Founded in 2011 by a group of college students, JonnyPops®are sold in a variety of major grocery and club retailers throughout the country, as well as schools, hospitals and camps and other foodservice locations. JonnyPops®donates a portion of product and proceeds to organizations that help in addiction treatment and recovery centers, to further its mission of kindness in honor of the company's namesake, Jonathan Jeffrey. Due in dramatic increased demand, we are seeking highly motivated individual in our Warehousing Operations. LOCATION : 3600 Alabama Ave S, St Louis Park, MN 55416 POSITION: Warehouse Associate - Available to work between the hours of 8:30 am & 7pm POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for successfully moving materials, supplies and finished goods through the facility which includes unloading frozen food product from semis into warehouse refrigerators / freezers and loading frozen products from warehouse freezers into storage trailers / delivery trucks. Accurately completes necessary documentation to support all warehouse transactions. Essential functions and major responsibilities * Requires use of material handling equipment including; forklift, pallet jacks, carts, conveyors. * Moves materials, supplies and frozen food products through facility. * Enters transactional data into company information system. * Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas. * Cleans up and disposes of scrap, bracing, cardboard and strapping and places in proper containers or designated areas. * Participates in conducting cycle counts and inventory control procedures. * Use of basic tools to open and wrap pallets, boxes, containers. * Uses standard worksheets to dispense and receive information that includes product codes part numbers quantities locations comments as directed. * Properly documents work performed according to standard work instructions. * Conducts regular material inventory counts. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, dock and storage areas. * Basic housekeeping duties. * Directs production support personnel as needed to follow warehouse and storage organization plan. * Support and comply with all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). * Supports food safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements. * Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. * Complete project or other duties as assigned by Manager. * Responsible to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct. Education and Experience * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 3+ years of related experience in warehouse environment. * Experience with a food manufacturer preferred. Skills / Abilities * Forklift Certified * Intermediate communication skills (written and verbal). * Basic math and reading skills. * Knowledge of inventory control processes. * Strong attention to detail and organization. * Ability to use a computer for data entry. * Able to follow specific written procedures and forms. * Able to lift to 50 lbs. * Able to be in and out of freezers and cold storage. * Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day. Status This position is non-exempt making it eligible for overtime.
