SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Joshua Creek Ranch in Boerne is hiring a full-time Sales & Marketing Assistant to support Managing Director and Director of Sales. Since 1990, Joshua Creek Ranch has operated as a Premier Hunting Lodge & Texas Hill Country Resort. The award-winning property is one of the highest volume hunting lodges and sporting resorts in the world.

REQURIEMENTS

The ideal candidate for this position will have a unique blend of sales, marketing, and admin experience in support of a strong and growing business. Key attributes include reliability, strong organization skills, attention to detail, excellent communicator (written & verbal), computer proficiency (MS Office Suite and proprietary software applications), light design program capabilities (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop), ability to multi-task under pressure, high aptitude for learning new things, and project management. College degree and/or 2+ years relevant experience preferred. Ideal candidates will have a love for outdoor sporting activities and desire to work in high-end hospitality. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMINISTRATIVE:

• Facilitate inbound calls, emails, and communications
• Inter-departmental communications, coordination, and scheduling
• Documentation of procedures, programs, and projects
• File organization and record keeping
• General project management
• Assist with recruitment for new hires
• Assist with ranch tours, guest check-ins and guest services

MARKETING:

• Coordination with media outlets for marketing and advertising materials
• Maintain marketing, advertising, promotion, and event calendars
• Provide event support and coordination
• Social media messaging, monitoring, scheduling, and posting
• Assist with marketing database and outbound email marketing program
• Assist with website updates
• Assist with development of promotional flyers, signs, brochures, etc.

SALES:

• Assist with inbound inquiries and sales lead management program
• Assist with retail and rental programs for Pro Shop, Guns, Ammunition, etc.
• Assist with Membership program sales and management
• Manage donation requests and general inquiries
