Applications without a Cover Letter will not be considered* ** This is NOT a remote position and must work in office at City of Industry, CA** Responsibilities: • Obtain all necessary property and loan documentation for every file, including evidence of insurance, verification of employment, payoffs, credit supplements, tax transcripts, condo questionnaires, title work, and subordination requests and to make sure the loan process goes smoothly • Take care of all borrower communication, from loan origination to close • Help further loan approval by serving as a liaison between applicants, real estate agents, loan officers, and mortgage lending underwriters • Make sure closing dates and company deadlines are met by following up on loan documentation in a timely manner • Maintain detailed documentation of the loan process in our system - from origination to close • Review applications and documents to pre-approve clients and submit the loan for underwriting approval. • Follow up on documents needed and keep the agents in the loop Qualifications: • Highly attentive to detail, and has excellent organizational and time management skills • Experience as a Loan Partner, Loan Officer, Processor, LOA,and/or Underwriter • Familiar with working in a broker’s environment and using Calyx Point • Must have current working knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation • Capable of accurately analyzing credit reports, income, and asset documents, and the various ways to assemble a loan Compensation: $50,000 - $140,000+ yearly
