Journeyman Electrician

Our client is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join their fast-growing team. Specializing in Building Management Systems, this role will involve the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in a dynamic and innovative environment. Day to Day Duties

• Bend and install rigid conduit.
• Set up and pull wire and cable.
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings for efficient system installation.
• Perform structured cabling (Cat5, Cat6), fiber optic installations, and terminations.
• Install and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
• Pull and terminate Cat5 and Cat6 phone and data cabling.
• Build MDF and IDF closets; pull and terminate copper and fiber.
• Manage network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Work safely from various heights using platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man lifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the electrical field.
• Safety-conscious with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience working in Mission Critical environments, such as Data Centers.
• Working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
