DESCRIPTION
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately layout electrical systems
- Install and troubleshoot electrical components, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Test and ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems using advanced testing devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Work alongside other trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in construction projects
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of frame carpentry and building practices
- Proficiency in working with power tools and hand tools
- Experience with low voltage systems and industrial electrician work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and logic controllers
- Familiarity with commercial electrician work and installations
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested
- Willing to wear required PPE
- On call rotation
Pay Rate: $35-$38/hr
