Responsibilities: • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems. • Measure, cut, and bend pipes using hand and power tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and bending machines. • Install and assemble piping systems, including joining pipes by welding, brazing, soldering, and threading. • Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning. • Collaborate with other team members, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and construction personnel, to complete projects efficiently. • Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in pipefitting preferred. • Journeyman Certification Required: Must have completed an accredited journeyman program • Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipe Fitter or similar role, with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications. • Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and equipment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes. Compensation: $32 - $36 hourly
