Position Overview
As a Journeyman Electrician , you will work across multiple job sites, applying your expertise to residential and commercial electrical projects. You will collaborate with team members, adapt to various challenges, and maintain the high standards of professionalism and craftsmanship that Streib is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial job sites.
- Interpret and execute electrical blueprints, diagrams, and project plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and Foremen to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a variety of settings.
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of multiple job sites, ensuring flexibility and teamwork.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure job sites are clean and safe.
- Provide mentorship and support to Apprentices, fostering a culture of skill development and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician Certification (4-year program completion).
- Proven experience working on a variety of job sites, including residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a flexible, adaptable approach to work.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Reliable transportation to and between job sites in the Northwest Arkansas area.
- OSHA 10 Certification : If not already certified, must complete OSHA 10 training during the first days of employment (provided by Streib).
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
- Occasional Saturday shifts may be required, depending on project demands.
