  • Responsibilities

    Summary

    The Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering as it pertains to operations through job planning, applications engineering, and process engineering requirements. Address process and equipment issues as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Pre-Bid Planning

    • Put together technical documents to support bid proposal (drawings, job descriptions, schedule)
    • Support estimation effort through identifying necessary equipment/ making recommendations
    • Participate in all pre-job meetings and planning sessions

    Pre-Job Planning

    • Conduct site evaluation/ job walks as necessary
    • Complete technical package (schedule, processing plan, plot plans, PFDs, equipment specification, etc.)
    • Oversee customer MOC effort
    • Provide all necessary job and equipment documentation
    • Host meetings to clarify process and equipment requirements with operations
    • Participate in customer initiated MOC processes and risk assessments

    Job Sustaining

    • Verify accuracy of equipment and processes to ensure preapproved plans are being met
    • Update schedules as needed
    • Propose process improvements and troubleshoot as needed
    • Support equipment maintenances/ make recommendations as needed
    • Other duties as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s of Science from an accredited university or college in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% to oversee testing and field implementation.
    • Active TWIC card
    • Active and unrestricted Driver’s License

    Additional Notes


    • Supports Operations which are often 24 hours per day.
    • Role may require Operations support during holidays or emergencies.
    • Requires indoor and outdoor work in variety of environments (including extreme cold and heat conditions)
