Job Description

Our Jr Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing some basic equipment servicing and maintenance, tasks that assist our maintenance team, as well as general work and clean up on the production floor and in the facility.

• Perform basic equipment services, routine tasks, tool changes, checking filters, cleaning, calibrations
• Assist with preventative maintenance on equipment, maintaining PM checklists
• Handling any assigned work orders including servicing other equipment and systems in the lab
• Removing trash and debris from building
• Conduct clean up on the production floor and around equipment, including cleaning floors around production equipment
• Assist as needed with building, assembly and set up of shelving, components, fixtures or other items throughout the lab facility
• Perform simple repairs in the building, (i.e. changing lightbulbs, locks), attaching fixtures; general cleaning and maintenance of the building and facilities as assigned
• Follow company's "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and all safety protocols in the lab.

Qualifications

• No specific education or training is required
• No specific experience is required but a mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize various tools is desired
• Some prior equipment or industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to read and write English
