Overview of Position
We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Junior Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning. The Junior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new business processes to translate them into technical solutions.
What you’ll own
- User management : Creating and managing user accounts, assigning profiles and roles, managing security settings, and ensuring data access is appropriate.
- Customization : Configuring fields, layouts, Flows, validation rules, and other Salesforce features to match business processes.
- Data management : Performing data cleansing, deduplication, and data imports to maintain data integrity.
- Reporting and dashboards : Designing and developing reports and dashboards to provide insights into key sales metrics
- Automation : Creating, maintaining, and customizing Flows. Transitioning workflows/process builder to Flow. Use of triggers and other automation tools like Workato to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Troubleshooting : Identifying and resolving issues related to Salesforce functionality, data errors, and user access.
- Training and support : Providing training to users on Salesforce features, processes, best practices, and integrated systems.
- Collaboration : Working closely with sales teams, marketing, operations, customer service, and other departments to understand their needs and implement Salesforce solutions.
- System maintenance : Monitoring Salesforce performance, updating features, and applying platform patches.
Experience and skills you’ll have
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Technical skills : In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Flow, and other relevant modules.
- Business acumen : Understanding of sales processes, business goals, and ability to translate business needs into Salesforce configurations.
- Communication skills : Effectively communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and explain complex technical concepts.
- Problem-solving skills : Identifying root causes of issues and finding solutions to Salesforce-related problems.
- Analytical skills : Analyzing data to identify trends and make informed decisions about Salesforce optimization.
- Additional Systems : Knowledge/experience with the Certinia platform and Conga solutions is a plus.
