We are seeking a hands-on Jr. Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our team! Responsibilities
Train and develop team members to company standards
Cook on the line according to business demands
Day-to-day culinary operations
Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
Assist Chef accordance with business needs.
Check freshness and quality of ingredients
Assist in the development of menu items
Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
Coordinate scheduling of BOH staff and in admin functions as directed by leadership.
Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
Standardize recipes and plate presentations
Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Qualifications
Experience working as a head line cook, sous chef or chef
High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
Knowledge of cost and labor systems
Passion for food and cooking techniques
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
