We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Account Executive to join our team and help drive business growth to provide real-time situational awareness for the connect workforce.

    Position Overview:

    As a Junior Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with clients using land mobile radio and broadband based real-time GIS centric tracking solutions. You will work closely with senior sales team members to identify opportunities, generate leads, perform software demos, and support the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in sales and gain valuable experience in the telematics sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Generation and Prospecting:

      • Conduct market research to identify potential clients in the operations of critical infrastructure and fleet management.
      • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
      • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date client information.
    • Sales Support: * Assist senior sales team members with the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials. * Schedule and coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-up activities with clients. * Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

    • Client Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
      • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
      • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and providing appropriate solutions.

    • Market and Product Knowledge:
      • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and advancements in the telematics and situational awareness technology marketplace.
      • Develop a deep understanding of CompassCom’s products and services and communicate their value to clients.

    • Reporting and Analysis:
      • Track and report on sales activities, progress, and outcomes.
      • Analyze sales data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
      • Provide regular updates to the sales manager on sales pipeline and performance.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Geospatial Science, Radio Telematics, IOT wireless or a related field. Former First Responder or Veterans with mobile radio certification or training qualify.

    • Experience: 3-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the Esri geospatial, land mobile radio (Motorola Products), broadband technology, or related real-time vehicle tracking industry. Training of qualified applicants can fill gaps.

      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Land Mobile Radio or Broadband (Cellular) related technologies.
    • Experience demoing and selling GIS centric software solutions.
    • Experience selling to operations in the critical workforce markets.
    • Experience with lead generation and prospecting techniques.
    • Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques.
