    Junior Estimator – Construction

    Bellevue, WA

    Our client, a premier luxury home builder, and remodeler is in search of a Junior Estimator to join their expanding team, grow with the company, and learn residential estimating.

    If you're eager to leverage your construction knowledge within a growing, independent firm that values collaboration while allowing for autonomy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

    As the Assistant Estimator, you'll play a key role in the bid process, working closely with leadership and Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have some experience in construction or architecture, and a strong desire to learn.

    Junior Estimator Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough job walks to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and gather information for accurate estimates.
    • Attend customer meetings to discuss project details, address inquiries, and provide cost estimates and timelines.
    • Develop and maintain project budgets and monitor and track project costs.
    • Analyze blueprints and specifications and collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project scope to prepare detailed estimates for residential construction projects.
    • Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.

    Junior Estimator Qualifications:

    • Familiar with general construction practices.
    • Ability to understand blueprints is preferred.
    • Strategic planning abilities and keen attention to detail.
    • Strong aptitude for technology, software and general computer skills
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong understanding of Excel and other Microsoft software.

    Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 (DOE)
