We are committed to providing clean, sustainable energy solutions and are looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level HR Professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic and innovative industry while supporting the company’s HR and office operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Office Operations & Administration

    Oversee daily office processes, manage supplies, equipment, and maintenance.

    Assist with scheduling meetings and managing office records.

    Provide administrative support to senior management and project teams.

    Recruitment & Onboarding

    Manage full-cycle recruitment for office and field staff, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

    Administer onboarding and offboarding procedures and ensure employee records are accurate and compliant.

    Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract talent, including marketing and events.

    Payroll & Benefits

    Process payroll using ADP and assist with managing employee benefits enrollment, time-off requests, and attendance tracking.

    Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and generate HR-related reports as needed.

    Serve as the main contact for benefits-related questions and provide education to the team about available benefits.

    Employee Relations & Compliance

    Support employee relations, handle inquiries, assist in conflict resolution, and provide guidance on company policies.

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including recordkeeping, payroll practices, and workplace policies.

    Maintain employee records and assist with audits as needed.

    Keep up to date on industry and legal HR trends to proactively address compliance needs.

    Benefits, Leave & Payroll

    Administer and track leave programs, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with policies.

    Maintain accurate records for all benefits and leave requests, and work with managers to coordinate coverage during employee absences.

    Collect and organize payroll information, including timekeeping records and employee changes, to ensure accurate and timely processing.

    Performance Reviews

    Oversee the performance review process, ensuring evaluations are completed in a timely manner and aligned with company goals.

    Provide guidance to managers on conducting reviews and setting employee development goals.

    Work with managers to provide growth opportunities and mentorship for employees.

    Administrative Tasks

    Create and distribute internal communications, policies, and updates.

    Support with other administrative tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: 1-2 years in office management or HR roles, ideally within the construction or renewable energy sectors.

    Education: Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and payroll.

    Proficiency with QuickBooks, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).

    Other Skills:

    Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
