Job Description
The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to manage and support IT projects from planning through completion. This role is primarily onsite in Phoenix and requires hands-on coordination, stakeholder communication, task tracking, and documentation using tools like Asana. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with agency goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage IT projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
· Track and coordinate tasks/tickets in Asana.
· Maintain and update IT documentation and training materials.
· Facilitate meetings and provide regular project status updates.
· Manage stakeholder communications and expectations.
· Support change management and post-project transitions.
Required Skills:
· Proven experience in IT project coordination.
· Proficiency with project/task management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.).
· Experience with planning, coordinating, and managing IT projects, from initiation to completion
· Managing tasks and tickets in Asana or any other PM tools such as Monday.com ClickUp, Smartsheets, ensuring proper tracking, task documentation and resolution
Preferred:
· Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall frameworks.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
