Job Description
Abramson Labor Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Specialist to join our growing team in Burbank, CA. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in IT administration, troubleshooting, and support within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses within the Microsoft 365 environment. Provide support for applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
VOIP Platform Support: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting VOIP systems, ensuring seamless communication services for the organization.
Ticketing System Management: Monitor and respond to support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and documented accurately.
Hardware Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end-users, resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
Inventory Management: Track IT equipment and maintain up-to-date records of hardware and software assets.
System Maintenance: Assist with routine updates, patches, and backups to ensure system stability and security.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 administration (user account management, permissions, application support).
Familiarity with VOIP platforms and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with ticketing systems such as Freshdesk, Jira, or similar.
Hands-on experience with hardware repair and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Preferred Skills:
1-2 years of experience in an IT specialist role.
Certifications in Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or related areas.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with ITIL processes or other IT service management frameworks.
