Welcome to Sunrose California Eatery, your new favorite neighborhood spot hidden in the heart of Agoura Hills—a stylish all-day eatery, bar, market, and event space that celebrates classic California with a modern twist. As we expand into evening hours and open our second location, we’re looking for a photo/video/social media pro like you to capture the heart of our iconic restaurant. This hybrid remote position offers a flexible schedule of around 10 hours per week, with generous compensation of $3,000-$4,000 per month.

    Key Responsibilities:

Photoshoots & Content Creation: Coordinate and execute photoshoots for menu items, events, ads and more (weekly, quarterly or as needed). Sunrose will own the rights to all content created; however, you may share the work in your portfolio and on social media.

Social Media Management: Own and manage our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google, and Yelp, posting 2+ static posts and 2+ reels weekly. Engage with followers and customers and maintain our reputation across all platforms.

Email Newsletters: Create and design weekly newsletters and welcome automations, including writing and publishing via Olo using ready-to-go templates to stay on-brand.

Graphic Design: Regularly update our dining and catering menus using Adobe Illustrator.

Website Management: Keep our website fresh with up-to-date content, photos, and links on Squarespace (or quickly learn the platform).

Marketing Strategy: Work closely with our in-house and third-party teams on monthly,  quarterly marketing strategy planning and participate in weekly marketing calls.

Collaboration: Manage third-party relationships, including vendors like Olo and branding agencies, while working alongside our in-house team (available via phone, email, and video).

Marketing Materials: Update and create new posters, menus, and other print collateral for in-store and promotional use.

Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze customer data from Olo and other sources to inform marketing decisions and campaign strategies.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with third-party management software such as Later.com, Monday.com, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and similar tools.

Event Management: Help with producing marketing materials and coordinating outreach events targeting local businesses.

    Am I a Good Fit?

Whether you're a few years out of school or still wrapping up, this could be a great opportunity if you:

Can confidently use Adobe Illustrator for design work, with keen attention to detail to maintain our brand style standards.
