  • Responsibilities

    In this role, you will support the Engineering and production teams and work closely with them to design, develop, test, and evaluate prototypes. Collaborate on exciting projects to support production, aiming to improve existing equipment, machinery, and manufacturing methods continuously.

    Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for designing and planning new and existing products and systems by performing engineering duties and developing, designing, and testing mechanical devices.
    • Assists in product redesigns, project estimates, change control, work order reviews & changes, bill of material, sourcing specialized components, and project management.
    • Works without detailed supervision but within clear guidelines from more senior designers with defined standards and specifications
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.
    • Your work will include developing models and drawings, preliminary analysis, design review presentations, and support for manufacturing and operations.
    • Involved in the fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products.
    • Creates and updates design drawings and specifications and provides technical support during product manufacturing and assembly.
    • Applies knowledge of engineering principles as a conduit and technical resource between vendors, sales, and operations on custom-designed products, components, controls, assemblies, and safety devices
    • Electronically document and maintain manufacturing processes, including specifications, procedures, and performance metrics
    • Generate reports to track key performance indicators, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve quality and efficiency.
    • 2+ years of experience designing electromechanical products using high-power electric and geared motors in a manufacturing environment.
    • Bachelor of science in engineering, including manufacturing, production, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or multidisciplinary
    • Knowledgeable in mechanical engineering principles, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling and simulation.
