    Junior Paralegal – Position Summary

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a great law firm that is partnering with New Gig Solutions to hire talented paralegals. The Junior Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting both clients and the firm by managing administrative tasks related to case management and client satisfaction initiatives. This role involves direct client interaction and collaboration with attorneys to ensure cases progress smoothly toward achieving the best possible outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a billable hour requirement of 1,200 hours annually

    • Serve as a case liaison between clients and the firm, updating clients on case progress and relaying information to attorneys

    • Accurately track billable time in the case management system

    • Manage case milestones and deadlines, ensuring clear communication with clients, including payment plan adherence

    • Collect and organize client documents (e.g., tax transcripts, financial statements)

    • Draft, review, and analyze client financial summaries, including assets, liabilities, income, and expenses

    • Send and manage outgoing mail, emails, and faxes as required

    • Maintain and update the case calendar with key deadlines

    • Ensure proper case closure per firm policies and procedures

    • Provide backup support for mail processing in the Legal Assistant’s absence

    • Assist attorneys with additional tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of client-facing experience in a professional environment

    • Associate’s Degree or higher required

    • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required

    • Familiarity with financial terminology and documentation is a plus

    • Proficient in Google email, Adobe, and MS Office (Word & Excel expertise required)

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience in Tax, Bankruptcy, or Real Estate law is a plus

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Proactive problem-solver with strong follow-through and client-care focus

    • Superior time management and organizational skills

    • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members

       

    • Compensation
      $50,000-$550,000 per year
