    Junior Sales Representative – Luxury Retail Furniture & Lighting Showroom

    Cosulich Interiors & Antiques, a family-run business specializing in one-of-a-kind vintage and contemporary Italian furnishings, is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position based in our open-layout showroom at the New York Design Center.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and personable sales professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a luxury retail environment. This is a client-facing role requiring direct interaction with customers and collaboration with team members to ensure a seamless sales experience.

    Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Sales:

    Greet and assist clients in a professional manner in the showroom, via email, and over the phone.

    Open conversations to identify customer needs, present appropriate products, and build lasting relationships, in person, via email, and over the phone.

    Proactive sales activities include reach out to clients to generate new sales leads, follow up on inquiries, and upsell products, via email and over the phone.

    Maintain accurate records in the CRM system to track leads and sales activities.

    Sales Support & Administration:

    Assist Senior Sales Representatives with client presentations, emails quotations, order entry (including custom orders), and follow-ups.

    Create invoices, proposals, and process payments with accuracy.

    Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and purchasing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

    Showroom Operations:

    Participate in showroom events to engage new and existing clients.

    Maintain a neat and organized workspace that reflects the brand's luxury image.

    Communicate regularly with the managing director and other departments to support transport, special projects, and events.

    Qualifications & Skills: Experience:

    Minimum 3 year of direct sales experience, including lead generation, relationship building, negotiation, closing, shipping logistics and the full sales cycle.

    Interest or experience in the design, art, or home furnishings industry is highly preferred.

    Skills & Traits:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills to professionally engage and retain clients.

    Basic knowledge of home furnishings and measurements (e.g., sockets, LED bulbs, chandeliers, dimensions).

    Proficient with Mac Suite, Google Sheets, Chrome, and CRM systems.

    Confident, proactive, and adaptable to the fast-paced luxury retail environment.

    Ability to follow instructions and procedures

    Polished appearance and professional demeanor.

    Education:

    College degree preferred (e.g., creative fields, business, marketing, or communications).

    Multilingual skills (Italian or French) are a plus but not required.
