    JUNIOR SOUS CHEF $48.5k–52.5k

    We’re hiring a Junior Sous Chef who’s ready to step into a leadership role that values mentorship, consistency, and good food done well.

    At Butcher & Bee, we’re a vegetable-forward, Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant focused on hospitality, community, and craft. We’re looking for someone who thrives in the heat of service but also knows how to support their team and keep things running smoothly — this is a full-time, 40-hour/week position.

    WHO YOU ARE:

    Skilled in the fundamentals — solid knife skills, safety, sanitation, and food handling best practices

    Comfortable leading a line or expediting during peak service

    Organized, reliable, and consistent in a fast-paced kitchen

    Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs

    Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

    Motivated by mentorship and helping others succeed

    Bonus: experience with group dining or large-party execution

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Lead or expedite during busy services

    Set and maintain high standards for food quality and station execution

    Help organize and delegate daily prep and service needs

    Support training and development of newer team members

    Collaborate with the leadership team on goals and improvements
