The Production Assistant creates ready-made sets, custom book sets, assists in creating color-wrapped books and fabric-wrapped books as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull jackets and gather books to create ready-made book sets 
• Put custom dust jackets on book sets according to what set is being made making sure to maintain the integrity of the design and the accuracy of the order
• Pack your own orders by pulling and boxing individual books ensuring order accuracy
• Assist the Product Manager to create color-wrapped books and fabric-wrapped books for web orders and custom orders
• Assist the Product Manager with the assembly of books, jackets and subscription boxes
• Complete production work orders for ready-made book sets and record in the inventory management system
• Deliver completed orders to shipping
• Identify damaged books or jackets and give them to the appropriate person to write them off in the inventory system and to claim the damage with the publisher

We are looking to hire ASAP.  Compensation includes $16/HR, health benefits, 401K, flexible schedule within 8:00 - 6:00 Monday - Friday and potential annual bonus.
