This position is a unique opportunity to learn the semiconductor manufacturing process as well as the problem solving skills in further depth. You will be given the required training in semiconductor manufacturing and operation process and will be asked to support the development and optimization of the process with our engineers. You will have the opportunity to know how recipes are created, to conduct cross-tool survey for tool alignment, and to use statistical tools to design an experiment to identify the knobs of process and look for opportunity of continuous improvement under the coaching of experienced engineers. You will be assigned with a project to use the problem solving or continuous baseline improvement methods to improve the process stability and efficiency.
WaferTech is a semiconductor manufacturing company located in Camas, Washington. We currently employ approximately 1000 people at our fabrication plant. Our internship program is open to students who are currently enrolled in a related academic program, have completed at least their sophomore year of college, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25, are eligible to work in the United States on a long-term basis and are able to work full time for the 10-12 week internship period. Internship start dates can be either 5/17/21 or 6/21/21. All WaferTech internship opportunities will be held on-site.
