KaiPod Learning Coach (6th - 12th grade, educator) 25-26 SY
This position is for 25-26 SY.
About KaiPod Learning
KaiPod Learning brings together small groups (pods) of 10–12 students who live nearby and are enrolled in online or homeschool programs. We provide a safe, structured, and engaging in-person environment where students can thrive socially and academically, while parents gain peace of mind. At the heart of each pod is a KaiPod Learning Coach.
Position Overview
KaiPod Learning Coaches create learning spaces where students are safe, supported, focused, and excited to learn. They serve as mentors, academic guides, enrichment facilitators, and trusted partners to families. Unlike a traditional teacher, a KaiPod Coach tailors support to each student's individual learning program—fostering academic growth, personal responsibility, and curiosity through daily interactions.
What Makes This Role Unique
In some ways, you'll feel like a teacher:
You'll build meaningful relationships with students and their families.
You'll support academic growth and guide enrichment activities.
You'll help shape a positive, inclusive culture in your pod.
But in many ways, this is not a traditional classroom role:
Students follow their own online school or homeschool curriculum.
Your role is to personalize their experience—through goal-setting, coaching, executive functioning support, and social facilitation.
