LOAN PROCESSOR (FULL TIME).
Growing company needs Loan Processor who can accurately handle high volume of files.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A minimum of 2 YEARS OF CURRENT MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSING to include FNMA, FHA, Jumbo, Portfolio, and Foreign National loans.
• Familiarity with current underwriting guidelines, including self-employed/complex income calculations. Preferably, some experience in underwriting.
• Must be able to follow loan protocols.
• Prepare LE (LOAN ESTIMATE), fee worksheet, and other required disclosures to be sent out to borrowers within stipulated timeframe based on current industry standard and regulation.
• Experience with mortgage industry software Calyx Point.
• Manage, Organize, and post-close company files.
• Submit loans to automated underwriting engines.
• Submit original loan files to underwriters and/or investors.
• Review underwriting conditions and clear conditions for closing.
• Ensure all files are processed within current regulatory requirements, and all mandatory disclosures are contained in the file.
• Strong team player with excellent written/verbal communication and computer skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish). NMLS License a plus.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AT A MORTGAGE BROKER.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process a complete file for submission to underwriting, through closing, and post-closing; including QC responsibilities.
• Provide quality loan processing; review all aspects of processing for adherence to underwriting standards and ensure completeness of submission to UW.
• Maintain contact with borrowers to collect all necessary documents required for UW.
• Liaison between organization staff, underwriters, management, and clients.
• Timely follow up on conditions; make accurate and correct decisions during the loan process.
• Review the entire loan originator submission file and ensure that it is complete for underwriting.
• Effectively manage timeline for the loan flow process from submission to underwriting to closing.
