KAPLAN EARLY LEARNING COMPANY IS SEEKING TO HIRE A SOCIAL MARKETING SPECIALIST/CONTENT CREATORTO JOIN OUR CURRICULUM, ASSESSMENT, AND PROFESSIONAL LEARNING DIVISION.

Blending your creative and technical skills, you will be responsible for incorporating content marketing into a social context, following best practices for content curation, creation, and sharing, as well as social listening, moderation, and reporting.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Creating engaging content (e.g., writing social and blog posts, video production, podcasting).
• Social listening/moderation, and providing audience feedback to team.
• Identifying and tracking industry influencers.
• Growing our advocate communities.
• Promoting content.
• Measuring content (defining and reporting on KPIs).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or other related field. Experience in early childhood education, a plus!
• 2+ years demonstrated social marketing experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Proficient with video editing software (specifically Adobe Premier and/or Final Cut Pro).
• Extensive, hands-on experience using HootSuite. Hootsuite Platform Certification strongly preferred. (Candidate expected to demonstrate completion of platform training within 30 days of hire.)
• General HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Experience using an enterprise-level email marketing platform preferred.
• Strong skills in work planning, scheduling, and time management.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional group and in a fast-paced environment.
