    Job Description

    Job Duties include but limited to:

    1. Financial Reporting: Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.

    2. General Ledger Management: Overseeing the general ledger and ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

    3. Month-end and Year-end Closing: Leading the month-end and year-end closing processes, which involve reconciling accounts, preparing adjusting entries, and producing financial reports within specified deadlines.

    4. Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to provide insights into the organization's financial performance. Analyzing trends, variances, and key performance indicators to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

    5. Internal Controls: Assisting in the design and implementation of internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Performing internal audits and addressing any identified control weaknesses or risks.

    6. Tax Compliance: Collaborating with tax professionals to ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns. Assisting in tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.

    7. Financial Systems and Software: Utilizing accounting software and financial systems to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately. Recommending and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities.

    8. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as accounts receivable, payroll roll, benefit, legal and other related operational entities, and departments. Assisting and mentoring junior accountants, providing guidance, and reviewing their work.

    9. Other responsibilities/projects: Working with the internal accounting and other management team members to complete additional financial reporting, compliance related projects as assigned.

    Requirements:

    · Bachelors degree or above in Accounting or related field

    · Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

    · Organized, proactive and team-oriented

    · Proficient in MS Excel, Office and QuickBooks

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
