Position Overview:

As a Kennel Technician at Wave Veterinary Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hospital. You will be responsible for the care and well-being of our patients while they are in our care, ensuring that they receive the attention and love they need.

Key Responsibilities:

Animal Care: Feed, water, and exercise animals; monitor their behavior and health; administer medications as directed by veterinarians.

Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other areas to ensure a hygienic environment; handle waste disposal and maintain overall cleanliness.

Team Support: Assist veterinarians and other staff members with various tasks as needed; participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for animal care.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
