    Job Title: Assembler III

    Department: Manufacturing

    Reports to: Production Manager

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Purpose

    The Assembler position assembles parts from manufactured components in order to create and test a final product, while staying within specs.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assemble assigned quantity and type of final products based on assigned work orders

    • Test final product and assist in quality control/inspection of the products being assembled

    • Assist in sorting and organizing finished product for outbound packaging and shipping

    • Complete final quality inspection on assembled products

    • Work with management on establishing new product introductions into Assembly

    • Ensure all SOPs, work instructions and documentation are up to date

    • Train new hires

    • Assist Production Manager with training on updates to assemblies and new product introductions

    • Assist in troubleshooting quality issues

    • Basic computer skills in order to operate a tablet

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA's)

    • Communication Skills - strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Mathematics - ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, decimals, percentages and other calculations.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fume or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise in the work environment is moderate to loud. The primary responsibilities of this job involve working in a warehouse facility with exposure to both heat and cold.
