About the Job:
Surfaceone Inc is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Logistics Key Account Manager. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing logistics operations and ensuring efficient supply chain processes. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics strategies and deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the coordination and management of logistics operations for designated accounts.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics requirements and develop tailored solutions.
· Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
· Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve any transportation issues.
· Prepare and analyze logistics reports, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
· Maintain strong relationships with clients and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
· Support the implementation of new logistics initiatives and technologies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics management.
· Assist in the negotiation of contracts and rates with transportation providers.
· Handle billing and invoicing processes for logistics services.
· Attend team meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
· Comply with company policies and maintain the confidentiality of client and company information.
· Manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 0-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role (internship experience will be considered).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships.
· Knowledge of logistics concepts, industry trends, and best practices.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
· Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
· Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as required.
